Spring Sports Starting

The Spring sports season will get fired up next week with workouts scheduled for both U12 Softball and the Junior Track and Field. The U12 Co-Ed Softball team tryouts begin on Monday and will run from 3:40 – 4:40PM. Students are asked to arrive with glove, hat, and appropriate footwear (cleats and/or sneakers) and clothing.

Kidney Foundation Read-a-thon

Dear Parents, Crestwood is holding a Read-A-Thon to raise money for The Kidney Foundation of Canada, and we need your child’s help! This is a charity that is close to our hearts. In 2009, July Dorland, a student at Crestwood, was suffering from kidney disease. In need of a new kidney, her father was found to be a match.

On Monday, February 1, Crestwood’s Kids Lit Quiz team attended the Toronto competition.  After training for 4 months, the students were masters of children’s literary trivia and ready to compete.
