Opening/Registration Day

Crestwood Preparatory College’s opening/registration day includes activities for new and returning students. Students are permitted to wear casual clothing. Exam Check Day

Exam Check Day will be held on Monday, June 17th, from 9:00 – 11:00am. Students and their parents are encouraged to come in and meet with their teachers to go over their exam marks.

Book Exchanges

There will be two opportunities for book exchanges in June.  In both cases the school is not involved in any of the prices or negotiations.  The first is a Parent book exchange where we will provide a room for parents to come in to sell their books to other parents or to purchase books from other

Grade 12 Graduation

On Wednesday June 19th, 2013 our Grade 12 Graduation will be held in the gymnasium starting at 5:00 pm. Gym doors will open at 4:30 and seating is on a first come basis. The ceremony will last until approximately 6:15 pm and will be followed by light refreshments.  Students are to be dressed for this

The U12 Softball team played in their end of season tournament on Saturday at UCC. A 1st round win against SHS put the team into the Semi-finals against Ridley College. Student Achievement Contests

On April 17th, 15 Crestwood students wrote the Begbie Contest. The Begbie Society Canadian History Contest is a nation-wide contest written by 1000s of grade 9 to 12 students across Canada each year. While some content knowledge is required, the test is designed to focus more on critical thinking and analysis, rather than simple memorization.

Grade 11 Biology Trip

Next week, the grade 11 biology students will be headed to St. Andrews, New Brunswick for a 4-day field work and research trip.  They will get the opportunity to study the effect of tides on the diversity of life in the intertidal zones, examine invertebrate behaviour, classify various species, dig for various marine worm species,

Veterans/Grandparents Breakfast

On Monday, April 22nd, Crestwood Preparatory College held its 4th annual Veterans/Grandparents breakfast. More than 130 people, including grandparents and many World War Two Veterans and Holocaust Survivors, attended the event. The Music Trip to Washington

The Music Trip to Washington D.C. was a wonderful experience for all involved on many levels.
