The Crestwood Junior X Country team travelled to Riverdale Park on Wednesday September 17th. It was a sunny, warm fall day. The team was excited to kick off the season with a challenging, hilly course. Runners from 15 CIS schools competed.
From the initial race with our U10 girls, we knew our team of 25 runners was going to be successful.
Congratulations go out to all our athletes, however the coaches would like to acknowledge a few outstanding finishes from the following team members: Beckett S, Dylan W, Evan P, Josh P, Adam J, Alessandra I, Zoe H, and Ben A. The following 3 runners finished with 1st and 2nd place ribbons in their division, Pyper S, Kyra G, and Molly H.
We look forward to our next meet at Sunnybrook Park, on Wednesday, October 8th , which is hosted by our school. Parent volunteers are most welcomed to help marshal the course.
