As Athletic Director at Crestwood School, I am very excited for the upcoming 2016-17 sports season. As members of the Canadian Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA), we are able to afford your child the opportunity to participate in many team sports in and around the GTA area, as well as 2 tournaments outside Ontario.
It is part of our mandate to develop the “whole child”, as we strive to balance and nurture the physical, social and emotional development of our students as they participate on a varsity teams.
Your child may have already signed up for a school team, but if not, there is still time to join in, as try-outs commence on Monday, September 12th. I encourage you to check the school website for game schedules. In addition, your child can keep informed of any changes to practices or games on their Edsby account.
In the weekly newsletter for your convenience, we have attached a complete information sheet highlighting the team, date of the game or practice when they depart from class and their approximate time back at school.
We invite you to get involved as spectators and join us when able, to cheer us on as we strive to experience success on and off the field and or court.
