Crestwood brings it to SAC, Oak Hill Academy

Basketball

The junior and senior boys select basketball team traveled to Virginia this week, where the boys had the opportunity to play against the prestigious Oak Hill Academy in both a junior and senior game.  The junior boys played an amazing game and came out victorious by a score of 57-54.  The senior game was a difficult one playing against many D1 bound senior Oak Hill athletes.  Although our boys lost the game they put up a good battle.

Curling

The boys curling team traveled to Bradford to play against SAC. They figured out the ice quickly and had a great game! With excellent technique and strategy, they were victorious with a score of 10 to 1.

The Open and U-14 Curling teams headed to Leaside Memorial Gardens for a pair of games, and in anail-biterr that came down to the very last rock, the Open team fell short to the squad from Havergal.

The U-14 team faced off against the 1st place squad from Bayview Glen. Thanks to some great play from skip William MacInnis and some clutch shots from Jonah and Thomas, the U-14 team was able to keep the game tight, however two big ends from BVG helped secure the victory.

Special thank you goes to our timer, Sydney Zuckerman for timing and cheering on our swimmers throughout the day.
