Crestwood was pleased to have Coach Butch Carter, former coach of the Toronto Raptors, visit with Headmaster Vince Pagano and Basketball Coach Ro Russell last week. Coach Carter played in the NBA for six years, including time playing for the LA Lakers, Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks, and his coaching efforts with the Raptors in the late 1990s helped Toronto’s NBA team reach the playoffs for the first time since their inception in 1995. Both coaches are excited for what the Crestwood basketball teams will be capable of this year with our new and growing basketball program.
