On Monday, May 11, the JK to grade 2s had an author visit with Canadian author and illustrator Ruth Ohi. The children learned about how books are made, where to get story ideas and how to draw in a carefree and fun manner. They were also given an opportunity to practice some of the illustrating methods, which was really fun. Be sure to ask your children about this special visit.
