Mrs. Winograd’s grade 7s and 8s have been learning visual note-taking — an innovative type of note-taking that can have a tremendous impact in the classroom. Usually, when we’re writing, it makes sense to be fairly linear. Essays tend to be linear, articles tend to be linear. Our minds, however, are not linear.
Visual note-taking allows students to put down on the page their thoughts and ideas in a way that isn’t linear. It therefore serves as a bridge between how we think and what we want to say.
Great Job Grade 7/8!
