welcome to upper school

Welcome

“Crestwood’s most important mandate is to provide an environment where students can walk into school every morning and know that they will be respected for who they are and what they bring to the school as individuals. With this mindset, success on all fronts is virtually limitless. The entire Crestwood community is proud to be part of this philosophy. We constantly strive to uphold this promise and give our students the best possible education.”

On Tuesday, members of Crestwood Chess Club travelled to St. Michael’s College for the TSSCL Team Chess Championships.

Playing short-handed due to an injury to one of our players, the remaining team members still persevered and put forward some gritty individual efforts. Kyle Hui scored 2.5 out of a possible 4 points, captain Ryan Yao won 3 of his 4 games, but it was Zidan Asghar who had his best tournament finish ever, scoring an amazing 3.5 out of 4 playing Board #2.

Ladder matches will continue in April and our top players will be preparing for the Ontario High School Chess Championships in May. #inspireexecellence #nurtureindividuality #crestwoodlearns
