Welcome

“Crestwood’s most important mandate is to provide an environment where students can walk into school every morning and know that they will be respected for who they are and what they bring to the school as individuals. With this mindset, success on all fronts is virtually limitless. The entire Crestwood community is proud to be part of this philosophy. We constantly strive to uphold this promise and give our students the best possible education.”

School Life

Student life revolves around a blend of structured academic learning, diverse extracurricular activities, and a strong emphasis on personal development within a supportive community.

Thank you to our alumni that returned today to share their experiences, knowledge and advice to our female peer mentorship groups. Through “speed mentoring” our girls were able to ask questions about university experiences, career pathways, overcoming barriers and so much more. #inspireexecellence #nurtureindividuality #crestwoodlearns

Crestwood hockey players attended a workshop today that was facilitated by Roger Caracciolo of Hockey Equality. This workshop provided our players with an opportunity to learn about how their actions can possibly impact their teammates, family members, and other community members in both positive and negative ways. It also helped players engage in a positive conversation to make hockey a more inclusive environment. Overall, the players walked away with a better perspective on how racism in hockey can negatively impact their peers and how to be not just better hockey players, but better humans. It was a great way for our hockey community to have a productive conversation about a very important issue.

Crestwood would like to thank Roger and all members of Hockey Equality for their work on making hockey a more inclusive environment and for helping us as a community. #inspireexecellence #nurtureindividuality #crestwoodlearns #cpcathletics

On the morning of Wednesday, November 20, Mr. Mariano and the Gr. 9 and Senior Music classes travelled to the Lower School for their annual concert for the staff and our young friends.

The Gr. 9s opened the concert with a set of 3 songs: the Sesame Street Theme; The Return of the Killer B’s (a medley of Brahms, Bach and Beethoven); and the Beatles’ Get Back.

The Senior Group finished with a set of 4 songs: Aretha Franklin’s Respect; a medley of Taylor Swift’s 1989 album (Wildest Dreams, Blank Space, and Shake it Off); Pharrell Williams’ Happy from Despicable Me 2 and capped by showing our lion pride with Katy Perry’s Roar.

Throughout the show, we had thunderous applause in between each song, and loud sing-alongs and with several of our members coming from the Lower School, it was a wonderful time to catch up and reunite with old teachers and friends. It was once again a successful show and we cannot wait for our next trip soon. #inspireexcellence #nurtureindividuality #crestwoodlearns
