On Wednesday, April 9th, join Mrs. Winograd for the English department’s next workshop in a series aimed to aid student writing. The focus will be Organization, Test-Prep and Test-Taking Strategies, and will cover use of the agenda, frontloading, memory strategies, self-talk method for test preparation, breaking down multi-step test questions, and organizing ideas prior to writing.
As our Head of Special Education, Mrs. Winograd has worked with many students across grade levels to help them develop test-taking strategies. This workshop will use real tests across subject areas, and students will take away valuable information in-hand.
Parents are asked to encourage student attendance, as these skills can be refined by any student at any level. The workshop will take place after school from 3:30-4:30pm in the Learning Commons. Don’t miss it!
