Crestwood’s U14 Hockey Team began their exhibition season yesterday with a road trip to Bill Bolton Arena to face Royal Saint George College. Our team jumped out to an early lead when Josh Moozar broke down the left wing and wristed a shot over the glove of the RSGC goaltender. The game was tight for the next two periods with Crestwood trailing 3-1 heading into the third. RSGC pulled ahead 5-1 with some accurate shooting before Sean Zelman snapped a snipe on a partial breakaway to make it a 5-2 final. Player of the game honours would go to Evan Senior who stepped up to play goal and made many spectacular saves throughout to keep this contest close. The squad is back in action next Tuesday as they host Greenwood College School at York Mills Arena.
