The Terry Fox Run

Terry Fox was an inspirational Canadian who didn’t let anything stop him.  After losing his right leg to cancer, Terry decided to raise awareness and money for cancer research by running the Marathon of Hope across Canada.  During the marathon, Terry had raised an enormous amount of money, one day he even raised $20,000!  Unfortunately before he could finish the race, the cancer had returned to his lungs and Terry was forced to stop and receive treatment.  Although Terry Fox has passed away,  his dream still lives on.  His goal was to raise $1 for every Canadian.  By collecting donations, you can help Terry achieve his dream.  Crestwood has raised a total of $135,705.15 and our goal this year is to raise $8000!  All students have received a pledge form and have 1 more week left to get out there and get donations. Our Terry Fox school run will take place on September 29th, 2017.
