Sports Update

Junior Boys Basketball
On Wednesday December 10th, the Junior Boys Basketball Team travelled to CDS for their first away game of the season. Hyped as a bounce back game from the get-go, the boys had a strong start in the first quarter after a few defensive lapses. The second quarter saw the boys take hold of the game with a strong defensive effort led by the quick hands of Ty Ellis and Emre Desiru. The fourth quarter was a lopsided affair, as Crestwood’s interior passing broke down the once robust CDS defense. All in all, it was a wonderful bounce back game for the team, who go into the winter holiday break with a 2-1 record.

Varsity Hockey
The varsity hockey team defeated Royal St. George’s College on Wednesday December 10th by a score of 5-1. The boys all played an excellent game. Peter McLeod opened the scoring, John Mainprize and Liam Mayer added the remainder of the goals. Benji Gertin kept the team in the game with some big saves. Great work boys.

U14 Girls Volleyball
The U14 Girls Volleyball team played their first two games at Trinity College on Wednesday December 10th.
