Congratulations to all members of the Cross Country team that participated in the meet last week at Riverdale Park. Your first race is under your belt and you now know what to expect and how to pace yourself when faced with challenging courses and runners.
Our U12 Girls Basketball team traveled to Trafalgar Castle, to compete in their first game this week. Mr. Conn and Ms. Fuller are extremely proud of your team effort and spirit on and off the court. What a way to kick off the season!
Both of our younger soccer teams saw action this week. The conditions could not have been more perfect for the competitive U9 and U10 games played on the Glendon Field. Congratulations to both teams. You both have a perfect record to date!
Thank you to the students, teachers and parents that participated in our Terry Fox Run, yesterday. I can say with a great sense of pride that every runner that ran the course, focused on trying his or her very best. Perhaps, it was due in part, to the morning spent thoughtfully discussing the amazing accomplishments of Terry Fox. He truly is a Canadian Hero!
