The U12 Basketball Team’s season comes to an end on Saturday with the final tournament hosted by Country Day School. After a long season the bballers finished with a 3rd place ranking overall. Although they will be missing key players Jack Hendry and Cole Marotta coach Conn believes we have a strong chance to contend. Crestwood faces Bayview Glen to start the day and then will tangle with Trinity College to determine who advances to the semi finals. Good luck to our basketball team.
The U12 Hockey Team lost their final regular season game to The Toronto French School 6-4 yesterday at York Mills Arena. It was an entertaining game from start to finish with many great scoring chances for both teams. Crestwood’s offence was was led by the first year defence man Cole Eichler. Eichler fired the hat trick and played a great game in both ends of the rink. Evan Senior stepped in for our regular goaltender and made many terrific saves. The hockey team is required to play in a qualifier game vs. Pickering College next week to see who goes to the Final Tournament @ UCC on Friday. Best of luck to our hockey players.
