Good morning Crestwood families, you may or may not have had some requests from your child that the school is collecting items to donate to families supported by Kawartha Haliburton Children’s Foundation. They are receiving this information from their home room teacher and as in past years Crestwood is once again helping out.
Ask your child what it is their ‘family’ needs. The donations need to be at the school by Thursday December 12th, as they are collected first thing Friday morning.
PA Bake Sale
The PA hosts a bake sale 3 times per school year. Our first sale is Tuesday, December 10th. The proceeds from our bake sales normally go back to the students for things like, sponsoring the ice skating trip, semi-formals, spirit week, teacher wish lists that benefit the students. These initiatives are already taken care of for the 2013/14 school year.
This school year we are donating all proceeds of our bake sales to The Liv Wise Fund and other families in our school that require our help.
Please send your child to school on Tuesday, December 10th with extra loonies and twoonies to support this initiative and buy delicious home baked goods provided by parents of Crestwood.
