Scientists in Schools visited the grade 7 students on Thursday for an afternoon session about heat, energy, and particles. Students did experiments with candle-powered putt-putt boats, heat lamps, metal particles, and used lots of water, thermometers, and food colouring in the process. Playdium: Grade 7 and 8
On Tuesday, December 15th, members of Crestwood’s staff and Student Government will be taking attending Grade 7 and 8 students to Playdium, an indoor entertainment complex featuring high-tech attractions, rides and simulators. Tickets are now on sale for Crestwood’s Semi Formal event at the Hard Rock Café @ Yonge/Dundas Square. The event will take place on Friday, January 15th, from 7-10 pm. Tickets are $80, and include entry to the event, along with a full course dinner, dancing, and more. This year’s event should be one of the best yet.
