Each year, the CITE (Conference of Independent Teachers of English) holds a writing contest, into which each CIS school can submit an entry. This year, the genre being highlighted was creative non-fiction. On Saturday April 28th, nine Crestwood students participated in the Junior Science Olympics at Crescent School. The students competed in engineering challenges like the Marshmallow Tower, Egg Drop, Wall Run, Tin Foil Boats, Bridge Building, Marble Ramp, Laser Maze, and many others. CPC’s Own Receives Premiere Award
This past Tuesday, Judy (Stephanie) CPC’s Security Officer, received the 2018 Annual Volunteer Service Award from Premiere Kathleen Wynne. Judy, as well as other volunteers and members of a grass-roots network, Friends of Flemingdon Park, created a forum to bring residents and agencies together to promote collaboration and support initiatives that promote social justice and equity.
