This afternoon, Grade 2 put on an incredible performance of Character Street. This musical teaches us about respect, responsibility, self-discipline, and kindness. These students have spent the last 3 months preparing for this musical and it did not disappoint! We would like to thank Ms. Romanenko and the art committee for the beautiful sets!

Final Exam Schedule
Exams begin for all students on Friday, May 31, 2019. A general schedule is available on the website under the documents tab. All students have received a personalized examination schedule but if it has been lost they can look at the general schedule online. Morning exams begin at 9:00 am and all afternoon exams begin at 1:00 pm. Exams in Grades

On Thursday the Grade Two classes participated in a Scientists in the School workshop all about the changing states of matter. InCITE English Special Recognition
Two of CPC’s students’ submissions to InCITE, the literary journal for CIS Ontario schools, received special recognition in their respective grade bands this year. Shining a Light on Sound
On Tuesday, 4C and 4D participated in “Sound is Music to My Ears”. In the workshop, the students learned how sound waves travel. They experimented with many items testing the properties of sound including volume, pitch or frequency, sound quality, movement and speed. Spring Sports Starting Next Week
The Spring Sports season is warming up here at Crestwood School and the Sign Up Sheets are filled with names of our student/athletes. The U12 Co-Ed softball and Junior Track and Field teams will both get started next week. Junior Track (Gr.3-6) and U12 softball practices will take place on Mondays and Thursdays after school.

Crestwood Basketball Finishes First!
CISAA history has been made! Crestwood is the first and only school to ever win all 6 Division I Championship titles in one sport! The OFSAA Swim Championship Qualifiers

CPC Student Makes Team China Hockey Team
CPC’s Sam Li (’21) made the 2019 IIHF U18 Team China Hockey Team over the Family Day long weekend. He will be heading to Serbia from March 25-31 to compete in the 2019 IIHF U18 Division 2 Group B Tournament. Congratulations and good luck, Sam!
Trivia Night 2019
Last Thursday evening we raised awareness and funding for the CPC Scholarship Foundation.
