On Monday, February 11th, Crestwood Preparatory College hosted its 12th annual Multicultural Day. This is a time when the students enrolled in CGC1D research a country of their choice, find out interesting information about it and learn how to cook a desert, appetizer or main traditional dish of the country.
As part of Multicultural Day, Crestwood students could purchase tickets to sample some of the different traditional dishes. Proceeds from the event totalled $600.00, all of which will be going towards Crestwood’s two foster children. A special thanks to all of the CGC1D students for their outstanding effort, as well as Mr. Tanev, Ms. Williams and Mr. Hawkins for coordinating the entire event.
Make sure to check out Crestwood’s Facebook page for more photos from the event.
