On Tuesday, five Grade 7 and 8 students travelled to Parkview Manor in North York to compete in the Toronto Regional Heat of the Kids Lit Quiz competition. This international competition consists of teams answering 100 questions from the world of classical and contemporary children’s literature in a huge variety of categories. This year’s team, with captain Ally Sone and other members William Kirwan, Harry McLean, Kayley Tang and Joanne Hu, had a great time at this year’s event. This photo shows them with Kids Lit Quiz founder and quizmaster Wayne Mills. Mr. Jull would like to thank the whole team for their enthusiasm and dedication to the sport of reading all year.
