A penalty kick, plus a hat trick from open play by Johnny and some more glorious goaltending from Mikel was enough to take Crestwood to victory.
A slender squad of just 9 players from grade 6 set out with much vigor and dominated much of the first half play to take a 4-goal lead. After the interval, the game became more balanced and Crestwood once again relied on their superb goalkeeper to keep the visitors at bay. Final score Crestwood 4 – 1 Crescent.
The Grade 6 soccer squad finishes up their season with a tournament on Saturday at De La Salle College. Good luck lads.
