After seven losses to start the 2013/14 ice hockey season the Cougars finally prevailed with a 4-2 win over Pickering College. The boys and girls did not play their best game of the year but a few key saves by Dimitris Christodoulou midway through the third period sealed our first victory. Jordan Sigel, a new arrival to Crestwood School led the offensive charge with two goals including the winner. A beautiful passing play with Adam Bounsall left Sigel open in front of the Pickering goal and he was able to shovel a shot top shelf to put us ahead for good. Other goal scorers included Cole Eichler and Bradley Parker. Congrats to all team members. The Crestwood Hockey Team returns to action at Fenside Arena on Monday vs. Crescent School. All players please remember to bring your hockey equipment to school on Monday morning.
