Hands-on Habitats!

This week, the children in classes 4D and 4E had a hands-on and engaging lesson all about habitats from the Scientists in the School! The children were tasked with exploring one particular habitat as part of their group. Amongst many activities, they had the chance to investigate animal furs, skulls, and real life reptiles, they created food webs and the lesson culminated with a game of ‘Habitat Jenga’! In particular, it was great to see the children grasp the chance to discuss how changes in habitats can damage the food webs inside them. A great time was had by all!
