Course Selection Visits
Beginning next week, the guidance department will begin its visits to grades 8 through 11 English classes to speak on course selections for the 2013-2014 school year. The staff is discussing elective options, the importance of community service, and backwards mapping with each grade level. Every student will be taking home a course selection package which includes a course selection sheet, a list of courses offered, requirements for graduation and a credit summary (of courses completed to-date).
These presentations will supplement the Grade 9 and 10 Course Selection Meeting taking place at the school on Thursday, January 24th, 2013 in the cafeteria. Subject selection sheets are due on Friday, February 8th. Enrollment forms must be submitted to the office prior to the acceptance of subject selection sheets.
Parents who have questions about the materials provided to their son(s) or daughter(s) may contact any member of the guidance team.
