Grade 12 University Application Reminders
Applicants should read all electronic and snail (hardcopy) mail to ensure they do not miss deadlines or supplemental information such as personal statements of experience, portfolios, interview dates, and/or auditions. Log-in information for school portals will be contained within these documents.
Additionally, students are reminded that most, however not all, Universities will allow applicants to make changes to their OUAC program choices until Tuesday, February 3rd. Students are encouraged to review their application this weekend to ensure they do not wish to make any additional selections, or remove choices for which they no longer wish to be considered.
Course Selection
The Guidance Department visited students prior to Spirit Week to discuss course options for next year. Students are encouraged to speak to teachers regarding the material and evaluations for courses of interest. It is important for students to educate themselves about their options prior to selecting their courses. This may include backward planning for postsecondary programs of interest. Parents are reminded that course selection must be returned by Wednesday, February 11th.
