Gr.3’s Visit Top of Toronto

As an extension to our unit on Living and Working in Ontario, the Grade 3’s travelled downtown to the core of our great city. We took a 58 second elevator ride to the top of the CN Tower to witness urban sprawl and to see how beautifully green our city has been kept. Many of our students dared to brave the glass floor and to walk the outside of the bubble. After visiting the viewing gallery, we headed to the Roger’s Center for a tour of the great dome. We sat in some great seats, experienced a private suite, and actually sat in the dugout. A fabulous time was had by all of the students, teachers, and parent volunteers.
