Getting to Know Sarah Marcantonio

I am the current 6C teacher at Crestwood School and I am thrilled to now be part of this warm community. I completed my undergraduate degree at Carleton University, where I studied Political Science. After graduating from Carleton University, I travelled and worked in South Korea for almost two years. This is where I found my passion for teaching and traveling. During this time, I applied to complete my Graduate Diploma in Education in Australia. I moved to Melbourne and completed my degree at Latrobe University. After obtaining this degree, I continued my path in the education field by moving to London, England. During this time, I worked and trained at Fairley House School as Specialist Teacher. At this school, I taught children with SpLD (Specific Learning Difficulties), focusing particularly students diagnosed with Learning Disabilities. After five years in London, I returned home to Toronto to begin my pursuit in the education field. I worked as a specialist reading intervention tutor as well as a teacher at Fieldstone Day School until this wonderful opportunity at Crestwood School came to be. In my spare time, I enjoy discovering and travelling to new and exciting countries, practicing yoga as well as spending precious time with my family and friends.
