DECA Regional Competition

On Tuesday, November 5th, 28 students from grades 9 through 12 participated in the annual DECA Regional competition, all hoping to win a spot to Provincials this coming February. All students came dressed to impress in business attire and practiced their presentation and problem-solving skills in case study presentations both individually and in teams. These cases were presented to working professionals from Toronto and Hamilton area who acted as judges in the case competitions. Although the results are not yet in for Provincial Qualifiers, many students were awarded “Top Ten” in their category: Aaron Jackson, Justin Memar-Makhsous, Adam Tytel, Sabrina Wasserman, Rod Senehi, and Kevin Todd. Congratulations to all for a successful day!
