Parent Perspective of Crestwood Preparatory College

With our Open House coming up and registration for the next school year on the horizon, we will be publishing testimonials each week in this Newsletter. Please pass on the information to friends and family who may be interested in enrolling their son or daughter at the school

Writing a testimonial about Crestwood is easy. We just have to think back to your welcome speech the first day our son arrived at the school and remember what you promised because in retrospect all of it came true. You mentioned how self-esteem was of prime importance in motivating a teenager to do well in academic pursuits. You promised how the school would work to build on successes every step of the way. We listened to you and thought maybe that was for other kids and not ours. Yet Crestwood has never fallen short of the mark from the day our son stepped through its doors. Crestwood is a new beginning, a breath of fresh air. Its foundation is built upon hand-picked teaching staff that all shimmers like diamonds in the school and enable your child to achieve his/her very best. Only by coming to Crestwood can you see how this magic happens.

When our son came to Crestwood, he was at the lowest of low in terms of self-esteem. He felt like a failure. He was turned off learning. He had been criticized for “learning outside the classroom.” At Crestwood it was a new beginning, will treat your child like gold, better than you can imagine. They treat your child like you do, with respect and dignity. Your child with begin to success in baby steps and then larger steps. You will see the changes and you will be amazed. You will not believe this is the same kid. You won’t know how they did it but they did. It is the magic of Crestwood. It’s about confidence building and self-esteem. Making the child feel good enough to try new things and take risks, going the extra mile and risk failures because he or she wants to. This is your new child. The other kids don’t bully or judge your child based on clothes because they wear a uniform and everyone is treated with respect. Your hardest job will be how can you ever thank them? You will never know how. Soon you will be writing a testimonial, just like us…the best step you will ever take is the one to Crestwood Prep.
