This week Crestwood kicked off our annual book drive. Students and teachers donated gently used children’s books and dressed up as their favourite literary characters for the day. All books will be donated to The Children’s Book Bank, a local charity that provides programming and books for underprivileged children in Toronto. Thanks to the generosity of our Crestwood community, Crestwood will start the year with a donation of over 1000 books!
Donation bins will remain in the atrium, library, and by the gym for the remainder of the year. Please continue to donate any gently used children’s books from you home library to continue to support The Children’s Book Bank and the wonderful work they do.
