Crestwood’s Social Studies Department is proud to announce that seven students from the Grade 10 history class won awards for their entries into the Royal Canadian Legion Remembrance Day Poem/Poster Contest.
They are:

Matthew Laslop – 3rd Place – Intermediate essay
Robert Muresan – 2nd Place – intermediate essay
Sophie Mawaya – 3rd Place – intermediate poem
Selena Zhao – 1st Place- senior poster
In addition to a framed certificate, the students won some cash for their historical endeavours!
