It has been a busy week of Athletics at Crestwood as we run tryouts, pre-season games, and some of our elite teams have begun traveling to international tournaments.

Sat. Nov. 20-Sun. Nov. 21 – Junior Boys Elite Basketball Tournament – 2 wins / 1 loss
Mon. Nov. 22 – Senior Girls DI Hockey vs Appleby College – 1-0 Win
Tues. Nov. 23 – Senior Boys OSBA Basketball vs Bill Crothers – 95-66 Win
Wed. Nov. 24 – Junior Boys DI Hockey vs Crescent School – 12-1 Win
Wed. Nov. 24 – Senior Girls DI Hockey vs Trinity College – 4-1 Win
Over the weekend our Junior and Senior Girls Basketball teams traveled to Michigan for a Super Series. And what a great weekend it was, not only did the ladies represent Crestwood proudly they left everyone with a new found respect for Canada and women’s basketball. The girls played 3 games almost back to back and won them all. Despite being much younger and smaller than the competition the scores from this weekend were as follows: Game 1) CPC 60 to Saline 16, Game 2) CPC 35 to Parma Western 17 and Game 3) CPC 63 to Dexter 6.
The Senior girls took on some of the top teams in the state, including 3 time State Champions Detroit Edison Public School. In true Crestwood form our ladies did not disappoint. Crestwood returns home with a clean 4-0 sweep of all the Michigan teams. Steller play from Toby Fournier, Sumer Lee, Taija Santa Maria, Justiece Miller, Chantelle Stuart, and the rest of the squad.
