Course Selection Visits

Counselors will be visiting all grades 8 through 11 English classes, from Monday January 12th through Friday January 16th, regarding course selections for the 2014-2015 school year. Junior students will be briefed on the importance of obtaining their required 40 hours of community service and elective options. Backwards mapping will be introduced to the senior students to assist in their academic planning, particularly in regards to their choice of electives. Every student will be taking home a course selection package which will include a course selection sheet, a list of courses offered, requirements for graduation and a credit summary. (The credit summary will only be provided to students who have completed high school credits.)

These presentations will supplement the Course Selection Meeting for Students Currently in Grades 9 and 10 taking place at the school on Thursday January 22nd, 2015 at 7:00pm in the Learning Commons. Subject selection sheets are due on Wednesday February 11th. Enrollment forms must be submitted to the office prior to the acceptance of subject selection sheets.
