Hello, this is your Community Service team. In Term Two we were working on the Children’s Book Bank drive and collected 367 books! On March 9th, we delivered them to the Children’s Book Bank downtown, at Gerrard and Parliament. Children and school classes go to the Book Bank to “shop” for books, and each child can take home and keep one book on each visit. All the donations are appreciated.
In Term 3, we will be continuing to collect books in the donation boxes located in the main building and in the Atrium. We are seeking books that are gently used and suitable for children aged 0-12 years. While you’re spring cleaning, please think of the Community Service team and our Book Bank Drive!
