CBHL Report

The Crestwood Ball Hockey League got off to a great start this week as we were able to get in all three games. The Canadiens and Leafs battled on Tuesday for approximately 30 mins with the Habs eventually building a lead and holding on for a 8-4 win. Les Habitants were led by Captain Cole Eichler who had four goals while Hudson DiIulio popped a pair. Charli and Myles Abitbol rounded out the scoring. The Leafs were led by their Captain Brad Parker who fired a hat trick while Mateo Rocho knocked in his first of the season. Both Alex Korda and Michael Fisher made many saves in their respective goals.

On Thursday in the CBHL the Red WIngs bounced the Blackhawks 6-0 while the Bruins routed the Rangers 7-2. The Red Wings started fast and never took their foot off the gas. The scoring was up and down the entire lineup with Aidan Takes, Adam Pearlman and Lee Williams leading the way with a pair each. Captain Thurman Zarek popped the other goal. Rookie Daniel Bender posted the shutout. In the other game the Bruins and Rangers battled evenly for the first half of the game until the Bruins pushed past for a convincing victory. The Bruins were led by their captain Josh Moozar who fired 4 goals. Jack Woynarski popped a pair and Maya Shapiro added a single. The Leafs were led by Alex Wagner and Sean Zelman who each bulged the twine for their first goals of the season. Both Tim Kufner and Evan Senior made spectacular saves throughout the contest.

Most importantly all games were played with respect, sportsmanship and some nice team work. See everyone on Tuesday as the Canadiens face the Red Wings.
