On Wednesday, November 30th the Grade 3 students performed their musical “Go Fish!”, a story about some sharks and their unique group of sea friends who discover how their differences make them each special.  They had a spectacular performance! Crestwood Gives The Crestwood Parents’ Association recently donated some much needed school supplies to students at Gosford Public School in Toronto. Winter Festival of the Arts

Crestwood’s Annual Winter Music Night and Festival of the Arts is coming up next week on Thursday, December 1st  from 7-9 pm. Crestwood Donates Over 1000 Books!

This week Crestwood kicked off our annual book drive.  Students and teachers donated gently used children’s books and dressed up as their favourite literary characters for the day.  All books will be donated to The Children’s Book Bank, a local charity that provides programming and books for underprivileged children in Toronto.  Thanks to the generosity

The Science of Structures

On Wednesday, the Grade 3’s visited the Ontario Science Center.  We investigated balance, stability, shape, materials and the function of structures. We performed experiments with compression, tension and load. Our students were able to design and build bridges, towers and arches using various materials, and then test their structural limits.  We learned that structures can
