On Saturday, September 14th, seven Crestwood Chess Team players participated in the season-opening Michael McArthur Memorial Chess Tournament. This huge tournament, with over 200 players, brought together a wide range of players from kindergarten students to international grandmasters to honour the memory of Michael McArthur, a well-known Toronto chess coach. It’s official!!! Crestwood’s Aaliyah Edwards (’20) has been selected to represent Canada on our Senior Women’s National Basketball team.
