On Saturday, November 24, Crescent School hosted the second annual Crescent School Invitational Case Study Competition. Twelve Crestwood business students entered the day long competition. Students arrived at 8am, in their business attire, and ready for the competition. The morning began with a one hour “lecture” delivered by a representative ofthe Richard Ivey School of Business on how to crack a marketing case. The students were then placed into small groups with students from other schools and were given a case to crack. They were given three hours to create a powerpoint presentation as a recommendation to solve the marketing challenge in the case. They presented their ideas to judges from the business community.
It was a great day! Many Crestwood students were on teams that received awards for their presentations. Ellen McPhadden’s group was chosen to present in the theatre at the end of the day.
