On Monday, November 19th, students from the Grade 11 Canadian Literature class travelled to the CBC Broadcasting Centre in Toronto to watch a taping of “George Stromboulopoulos Tonight”. The group greatly enjoyed the show, which featured Canadian musician Nelly Furtado, and Canadian comedians Elvira Kurt and Mary Walsh. Jake Pascoe won a genuine George Stromboulopoulos notebook and pen in an audience trivia contest. The group got a picture with George, and enjoyed dinner together at Jack Astor’s after the show.
