Grade 10 business students put their business plans into action last week, selling crepes, candy and even a “Sweet Tap” pie-in-the-face. The process began with Dragon’s Den style pitches to select the most viable business ventures. After a student vote, the planning process began for the best business ideas. The classes were divided into “departments” of purchasing, production, marketing, selling, accounting and management to plan and execute on the concepts. Students put their business knowledge to good use, generating over $300 profit for their charities.
