The U12 Girls basketball team had their first game of the season on Tuesday, October 2nd. Not only was it the first game of our season, but it was the first game ever played in our brand new gym! The excitement in the air from the team, the coaches, and all their fans was extraordinary!

The Grade 3’s were visited by a Dairy Farmer today. We discussed all of the different regions in Ontario and how the Dairy Industry is vital to the industry of the Great Lakes/St. Lawrence Lowlands. The Grade 6 soccer team started their season yesterday with a 6 – 0 win over Sterling Hall ‘B’ team. The goals were shared around amongst the boys and some fine goalkeeping kept the opposition off the score sheet. Only eight Grade 6 players were available to play so we needed help from the Grade 5 team
The Crestwood Cross Country team participated in their first meet this week at Centennial Park. Our Grade 3 and 4 runners laced up first and zoomed quickly across the finish line. Angus and Nathan placed top 10 in over 100 competitors in their age category. Our Grade 5 and 6 athletes hit the terrain next.
