This past Sunday my family, along with six other families (including three from Crestwood Prep), had the privilege of celebrating the Christmas spirit with a Syrian Refugee Family at a brunch followed by sharing of gifts and fun in the snow. Crestwood’s beginner and novice curlers hit the East York Curling Club on Friday to participate in the CISAA Funspiel. Two Crestwood squads, skipped by Lyndsay McCulloch and Zach Halpern, represented Crestwood. The Crestwood curlers went up against squads from Saint Andrews, Montcress, and Crescent, and represented the Crestwood Curling program with skill, enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
The U14 Girls Volleyball team played an exciting game against St. John’s Kilmarnock School yesterday. The girls had a slow start, but rallied back to win an exciting second set, with Maddie and Ella leading the team with their killer serves.
