Exams begin for all students on Friday, May 31, 2019. A general schedule is available on the website under the documents tab. All students have received a personalized examination schedule but if it has been lost they can look at the general schedule online. CPC’s Sam Li (’21) made the 2019 IIHF U18 Team China Hockey Team over the Family Day long weekend. He will be heading to Serbia from March 25-31 to compete in the 2019 IIHF U18 Division 2 Group B Tournament. Congratulations and good luck, Sam!
Last Thursday evening we raised awareness and funding for the CPC Scholarship Foundation. A big thank you to all who participated in Trivia Night, placed bids on items to raise money and supported our CPC community. It was a very fun night enjoyed by all. Recently, the Grade 7 Science students completed the Crestwood Bridge Building Challenge. After becoming familiar with concepts relating to the form and function of various structures, as well as the forces that may be acting on them, the young engineers had an opportunity to apply their knowledge and understanding of the material. This year, Ms.
Grade 12 Biology students traveled to the Ontario Science Centre and created their own DNA fingerprints. This applied knowledge of PCR and Gel Electrophoresis learnt in class to the real world. It was a great day of education and fun.
