On Friday, February 10th Crestwood celebrated our annual Multicultural Day organized and hosted by our Grade 8 and 9 Geography students. The day is kicked off by a full school assembly where students and special guests start the party with musical performances. A few students even led us all in a conga line through the gym as steel pan drum players provided the rhythm.
The focal point of the day centers on the multicultural display and worldly banquet prepared and offered by students. Parents, staff and students made their way through the offerings with a culinary passport, giving them a chance to try food from around the world. Proceeds from the event go to support three foster children supported by Crestwood in Ghana, Ecuador and Mali.
