Crestwood Preparatory College will be participating in the Terry Fox National School Run Day next Friday, September 30th. This is an important cause that supports all cancer patients, families, and survivors, as well as cancer research. Next Friday we will ALL participate in a Terry Fox walk to honor Terry Fox and all those impacted by cancer. In addition this year we will also be hosting a 2.5km cross country race in the ravine across the street. We would encourage all students to participate in this race. All those interested in racing need to sign up with Mr. McCluskey or Mrs. Newton prior to Friday’s race. During the next week, we are asking all Crestwood students to collect donations from friends and family to support this cause. Last year Crestwood raised $8566.00 putting our total raised in the past 15 years to $129,390.15! We have once again set our goal at $8000.00 for this year so get out there and start fundraising because every dollar makes the difference.
