Yesterday, Crestwood participated in the annual SSAF Under-20 Indoor Soccer Tournament.
In the round robin portion of the tournament, the boys jumped out to three quick wins, and held on through two tough games at the end to stay undefeated, and finish on top of the tournament bracket. Despite having a very short bench, the team played excellent football, and wore down the opposition with their beautiful passing game.
In the playoffs, the boys faced greater odds against them, since an unfortunate injury to one of our players meant that the team had to play with no subs. However, the boys overcame this adversity, winning decisively in the semi finals, and then winning again 3-0 against a very tough squad in the finals, allowing the team to leave with a tournament victory.
