6E’s Group Effort = Big Results for Food Drive

Mr. Battista’s class really wanted to make a difference with this year’s Food and Toy drive. Although a lot of the students had already provided donations, this week they decided to do more. They each brought in a small amount of money ($1-$5 each) and combined their funds to purchase over 50 pounds of much needed food for the North York Harvest Food Bank! The students donated dozens of boxes of dried pasta, rice, canned food and other pantry staples to help the Food Bank feed thousands of needy families in our community. This was a great way for everyone in the class to make a big contribution to a worthy cause. Way to go everyone!
