On Tuesday the Flag Football Team travelled to Fieldstone Day School for the annual U14 Tournament. We played 3 amazing games against Grade 6-9 students! We left the referees smiling and commenting on our sportsmanship and passion for the game! Our defensive line protected the field with excellent flag pulling from our defensive MVP Prince as well as Justin, Max, and Kyle. Julian shot out and took the opposing team’s QB by surprise by sacking him in the first play of the game! Thanks to the commitment and hard work of Forrest, Paul, Leon and Charli our defensive line stayed strong throughout the day.
Special mention to QB Allan for speedy plays and great communication to his line. Jordan, our offensive MVP, wowed all players and spectators with his continual push up the sidelines for several touch-downs. Great running and helping our line to advance by Erin, Megan, Ninja, Dylan, Cole and Ali. The goal was to chop away at the field and that is exactly what the offensive line accomplished.
James was absent from the tournament and we are glad he’s feeling better!
